I purchased three of the mounts for various reasons. Taken them apart and maintained them. The plastic will break under high stress conditions. Common complaint is loose magnets and poor coax ground contact with plate. If you are running high power the magnets will cause RF burn on your paint. Overall this mount will make your antenna perform and match low. Great holding power on coil and long whip antennas, Bulldog Approved 50/50!

This mount is exactly what Sparky says it is , with a plus he did not mention. This mount GROUNDS your antenna much better than anyother mag mount. The coax is excellent.
