K-40 has done it again

Had been thinking about getting back into the CB thing for awhile, but didnt want to spend alot on a "rig". So i go online to "Sparkys CB Shack" Was very impressed with the selection and best of all the prices. So still not wantin to get in to deep i orderd a cheaper mag mount. Low and behold they were out of stock, so Sparky upgraded me to the k-30 at no extra charge. What a pleasent surprise. And even better am very happy with the product. About an half an hour install, tuneing and all. Got a perfect match also. a 1:1 on ch18, a 1:2 on ch40 and totally flat on ch1. Have installed dozens of k-40's years back and was just as happy with the k-30's perfomance.A good choice for the guy looking for a shorter,at 3 ft antenna with great performance. Talk 15-20 miles often around town. And have no problems shooting skip as this antenna has great recieve and transmit.
