**100 Watt+ AM/FM Transceiver**
Brand new and in stock from the makers of the Infamous General Lee!
The General HP40 is Identical to the General Lee in terms of features (minus the 1" confederate flag in the faceplate) including Blue Channel and Meter Leds, Dual Control Echo, Switchable Talkback Control, Hi/Lo Carrier Switch.
The Main (and substantial!) difference is the bottom mounted onboard amplifier! This is very similar to the amplifier used in the Connex 4400HP, Galaxy DX-94HP, etc.
After Tune Up (Included) we see approx. 120 watts PEP from switchable carrier settings of 3/10 Watts..with outstanding audio modulation!
The New General HP40 is most Reasonably Priced 'Big' Radio that has it's own onboard amplifier.

Just got my Radio and installed as soon as I took it out of the box. From the way the locals got back to me on my first request for a radio check. I would say that Sparky's Techs out did themselves once again. I am very pleased with my new purchase and the best part is the radio came with the new and improved Ranger SRA-198 noise canceling mike. Very surprised to see that in the box.
