CB Radio is alive and well in the U.S. as well as many other countries around the world. The heyday of CB Radio was in the mid 1970's during the oil crisis. As speed limits nationwide were reduced to 55 mph motorists recognized the usefullness of CB to keep advised where the 'Smokys' (law enforcement) were hiding, just waiting to nab somebody for speeding.

A whole sub-culture was formed around CB Radio, that inspired movies, books, and songs. CB was here to stay. During the 80's and 90's CB slipped out of the main stream limelight, but was still in daily use by professional truck drivers, construction crews, and to a lesser extent the motoring public.

The last few years has seen a significant increase of CB use along the highway by John Q. Public. CB Radio continues to be an economical, reliable means of communication that will continue to grow and be of service to us in the 21st century.

The basics to get started are a CB Radio and Antenna. If you purchase the CB Radio new, most units come with a mounting bracket, mounting screws, and power cord. As for the Antenna, there are some excellent 'All Inclusive' Packages that contain all the needed mounting hardware and Coax Cable for the Installation.

Of Course, this is the most Basic Set Up. There are MUCH more elaborate, feature packed units to satisfy your hobby needs as your interest grows.

Quite honestly, it depends when you purchased it online, and WHAT you purchased. Generally, all in stock merchandise will ship the day FOLLOWING the day you placed the order.

We download the previous days orders at 8AM every morning and those orders are processed, packed, and shipped. If you ordered a radio that requires bench work prior to shipping (we tune EVERY radio we ship, except handhelds), it MAY not ship until the following day.
 
This is dependant on how many radios our Service Department has before yours. We process orders in the order they were received.

If you placed an order online AFTER 1 PM CST on Friday, or over the weekend, it won't ship until Monday. Again, If it was a Radio, it may not ship until Tuesday, depending on the order it was received.

We take great price in processing and shipping your order as fast as possible. We value your business, and know you want your merchandise as quickly as possible. We do our best to make this a reality.

During certain times of the year, sales events, etc shipping may be delayed by an extra day or two  due to a large volume of orders. We will contact you if we anticipate an unusual delay with your order.

When you placed your order thru the shopping cart, you will receive an e-mail to acknowledge receipt of your order. Once that e-mail is received, rest assured we have received your order and it is being processed. If there are any issues we will contact you via email or telephone.

In order to keep our prices among the most competative in the industry, we do not use an elaborate shopping cart system. Our system DOES NOT send out tracking information.

If it has been 6 BUSINESS DAYS or more and you have not received your order, please feel free to call customer service to check status of your order.

Rest assured, unless you hear otherwise from us, your order has been processed and is on it's way to you.

The less time we spend on the phone or answering e-mails for Tracking Information the faster we can get orders processed and shipped.
