There is no kit, you can use a variable pot, a hi low switch, or use an existing control on the radio that you don't need.

A few years ago,, there was this available from Sparky,,,,,,,,

The Sparktune Modulator is Designed to Regulate your Carrier Power, while Dramatically Increasing the Effective Gain and Clarity of your Modulation. Your 10 Watt Signal will Sound like 40 Watts! While the Carrier is Surpressed, Modulation Furnishes the 'Drive' to the Transmitter, by Altering the Timing Constant. Much the same way SSB works. Regulate your RF Power from Full Power To Zero, with High "Swing" Peaks. In addition, your Modulation will be Louder and Cleaner. Each SparkTune Modulator comes with a Variable Power Control to Customize your Installation.

The Sparktune Modulator will work with the Vast Majority of 40 CHANNEL AM, AM/SSB, CB and 10 METER RADIOS made in the last 25 Years. That's a lot of radios!! It would be impossible to list every radio, and specific hookup procedures. For the radios listed below, detailed hookup instructions are included. If your radio isn't listed, if you have a schematic for your radio (and can read it) by following our instructions you should be able to install it in an hour or less.

Bandit, what radio do you have? Reason I ask is on SSB radio's adding variable power is easy. On a Cobra 25/29 AM radio it takes alittle tech work.

I have found a mod that uses a Darlington transistor and some resistors to give variable power but have not done the mod myself. I will try in the near future.
