wolf antennas

i heard a guy talking on a wolf .64 wave antenna, he was rocking out of florida. the website is www.wolfradio.com anybody ever tried on of these wolf.64 antennas. looks like a well built antenna. SkyJacker in the buckeye state

good luck talking to the dude that makes them....I yried several years ago to contact this guy never got an answer....why even have a site?

his beam antennas are a YAGI BEAM, nothing special, some of his Omni's are an old design called a Ringo, both are old designs,

He doesn't make the .64 vertical anymore.

Yeh your right preacher he doesnt make the point 64 anymore. they look fairly well made though. that other guy in florida was wound tight and blowing smoke here in the buckeye state, im sure conditions were good, and some good power, but he sounded so clear. thats why i was looking into one. but anyway ive got an a99 looking to upgrade to a aluminum omni any good ideas, im only about 35ft high on a mast, on a sparkified rci 2980. I have a wolf .64 wave. The construction of the antenna is very good, and has survived good wind here with no damage. The big thing that I have noticed with this antenna is the significantly lower noise levels on receive when compared with my old antron. Output wise it does well, and would probably do better if I had mounted in a better location.
