i have an rci 2950 and it has reaceve and it keys up to transmit but it has no audio. no one around here works on rci radios. i think it must be the finnalls are blown, do you's fix these and about how much would it be to repair? please email me and let me know. thanks smoke

Best Bet would be to call the Shack's Toll Free number during any regular business day. Talk to Al in regard to getting your RCI up and running again.

No problem, those 2950's are real good radios, well worth it to get yours back on the airwaves. Also Welcome to the Message Board.

well thanx and i hope the skip starts rolling again soon. that is my favorite part of cb. if u hear me out there give me a shout. 420 smoke in the keystone......

for this i may hsve a solution i have a 2950 and thought the same thing about the finals opened it up checked it out replaced the finals still nothing come to find out it was the audio chip try that

If it keys up and receives I doubt it's the finals. The Audio IC chip could be the problem. Too many times people just assume it's the finals.
