Most in stock items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Exceptions being radios and other equipment that require bench testing, tuning, or aligning. In no event will your order be held more than 72 hours prior to shipping. In the event an item became out of stock from the time the order was placed to the time we picked your order, we will notify you via email if we do not expect to have it in stock within 4 business days. At that point you will be givin the options of us shipping on arrival, or a full refund.
Our preferred shipping method is USPS for 98% of our shipments. All orders are shipped 2-3 day Priority Mail. We take enormous pride in our shipping department. A $1.00 per order handling charge is added to cover cost of packing materials and the additional time we take to ensure your item arrives damage free. All orders over $100 are insured for the actual amount of the invoice.
We guarantee your order to arrive in working condition and free of defects. If it does not, we will either repair, replace, or issue credit for the item in question.
Please Note;
Every Radio, Frequency Counter, and Microphone is Bench Tested prior to being released for shipping. We have applied this policy in our store for many years, and have carried it over to our online sales. We do our absolute best to ensure the item is 100% before it leaves here.
Most items are covered by factory warranty including Galaxy Radios, Ranger, Uniden, Magnum. Wilson, and Astatic. We carry very few items that have no factory warranty. Of the few items we do carry, Sparkys offers a 30 day in house warranty. In keeping with our 'Tell it Like it is' policy, the bottom line is: We want you to be happy. A satisfied customer is a return customer. However we can not accept returns of merchandise 'Just Because'. We encourage you to call us, ask questions, BEFORE you purchase.
If a defective item must be returned please call (217) 267-7257 and ask for a RMA number. Please note that all defective merchandise must be shipped to us postage paid. If it is an exchange, we pay the postage back to you. All returned merchandise that is found non defective will be subject to a 25% restocking charge.
We accept all major credit cards via the website, or we can process your order on our toll free order line 1-877-455-7254. Customer Service Hours are 9:00am-3:30pm CST. We also accept mail in payment of personal check, Comcheck, or money order. Personal checks held 7 business days prior to shipment of merchandise.
