Most in Stock Items are Shipped within 24 hours of Receipt of payment. (Excluding Weekends & Holidays) Exceptions Being Radios and other Equipment that Require Bench Time, Tuning, or Custom Builds/Modifications. In no event will your order be held more than 72 hours prior to shipping. In the event an item became out of stock from the time the order was placed to the time we picked your order, we will notify you via Telephone or E-mail if we do not expect to have it in stock within 4 business days. At that point you will be givin the options of us shipping on arrival, or a full refund.
Our Preferred Shipping Method is UPS for 98% of our Shipments. Orders with a packed weight of less than 4 lbs ships USPS Priority Mail. UPS and USPS picks up at our Facility Monday thru Friday. We take Enormous Pride in our Shipping Department. A $1.00 per Order Handling Charge is added to cover cost of Packing Materials and the Additional time we take to Ensure your Item Arrives Damage Free. All Orders over $100 are Insured for the Actual Amount of the Invoice.
We Guarantee your Order to arrive in Working Condition, Free of Defects. If it does not, we will either Repair, Replace, or Issue Credit for the Item in Question.
Please Note:
Every CB or 10 Meter Amateur Radio is Professionally Tuned/Aligned/Bench Tested prior to being released to our Shipping Department for packing to the customer. Rest assured when your radio comes off our bench it is 100% operational as it should.
***NOTE**** If You Feel the Unit you Received is NOT Operating as it should, we Urge you to Check other Variables BEFORE you Assume there is an Issue with the Radio Itself. Many times a problem can be solved by checking Antenna SWR, Coax/Jumper Connections, Grounding, Microphone, etc. It is VERY, VERY, Rare that a Problem Developed with the Radio in Transit from our Facility to your location.
We state this simply to save mis-communication on both ends. We have had new units returned to us with the PA Switch on the wrong Setting, or the Mic Gain knob turned off resulting in No Modulation Output.
WARRANTY
All Items Sold by Sparkys CB Shack/SkyThumper Communications carrys a Warranty. Duration Varies by Manufacturer. Items not covered by Factory Warranty are Covered by Sparkys CB Shack's 6 Month In House Warranty.Factory Warranty Items must be sent Directly to the Manufacturer by the Customer.
Galaxy, Magnum, Connex, Stryker, Ranger, and General Radios have Various Warranty Repair Centers Throughout the U.S. Units Must be Returned Directly to Them by the Customer. An RMA Number is Required Prior to sending any of the above Radios in for Warranty Work. We Will Gladly Assist in the Contact Process.
Any Tuning/Aligning Performed by Sparkys CB Shack on any New Radio at the Time of Purchase WILL NOT Void the Factory Warranty of the above Manufacturers.
If we performed Custom Modifications or Build work on any new radio, Sparkys CB Shack Imposes a 1 Year In House Warranty Against Defects in Workmanship. We will repair or replace the unit, at our discretion, at no charge to the original owner. This Warranty is not transferable. Final Output Transistors and Radio Front End Transistors are not covered by Sparkys CB Shack. Warrenty is Void if Signs of Tampering or Misuse Exist or Warranty Case Seals are Broken.
We Strive to Provide the Best Products at the Lowest Prices Possible. In Order to do this we DO NOT Accept Returns of Non Defective Merchandise for ANY Reason. We Urge you to Call Us and ask Questions about the Item(s) you're Interested In Prior to Purchasing.
If you Believe your Item is Defective, call Customer Service at 1-877-455-7254 or 1-888-544-4343 During Business Hours to Request an RMA Numner. Please Have a Copy of your Invoice Available. The RMA Number must be written on the outside of the shipping box. Returns without an Authorized RMA Number will be Refused and Returned to the Customer Postage Due.
If the Item is Defective, we will Repair or Replace it at our Discretion and Return it to the Customer within 10 Business Days. If the Item is found to be Non Defective, but Not Operating Correctly due to Customer Error, Customer is Responsible for a $10.00 Bench Charge as Well as Return Shipping Charges.
